The second half of the year has flown by and in that time, I have visited Czech Republic, United Kingdom, Singapore, Bangkok, Saudi Arabia in between back and forth to the USA. It has been a whirlwind 6 months!

LIV Bedminster

Our second event in the USA, started the week spending an enjoyable day with @SharkGregNorman hosting a kid’s putting clinic.

The only thing to say is what an amazing impact @henrikstenson created in his first event. Having to deal with all the off-course pressure and going on to win, well that’s Henrik the ‘ice man’ congratulations on a fantastic win & the team finishing 2nd.

D+D Real Czech Masters

Had the pleasure of visiting Prague for the first time. Sadly, heavy rain reduced us to 3 rd.’s and finished strongly with 6 birdies & no bogeys on Sunday for a Top 20, disappointing there was not a further rd. to build on.

Petar & his team @czechmastersofficial put on a great tournament and hope to visit again next year.

LIV Boston

We started the week with Henrik pulling out due to vertigo and @shergo_kurdi stepped in as the reserve.  Sunday turned out to be an exciting one for @majesticksgc as @westwood_lee went on a tear shooting 62 & @samhorsefield96 & @shergo_kurdi going low to get us in with a chance with 3 holes to go. We finally finished 3rd.

I had a good week contributing to the first 2 rounds.

BMW PGA Championship

Finished in Boston & flew across the pond to play the @europeantour flagship event. Turned out to be a strange week with the Queen passing away on the Thursday & play being cancelled on Friday out of respect, it was a sombre mood.

So, we were reduced to 54 holes, Sunday really got it going holing a few putts and got it to -5 after 10 holes and a run up the leader board.

It was a good week to play in front of the home fans, received a great reception and nice to catch up again with family since leaving in July after the Open.

LIV Chicago

Not a good week for us as a team, we never got it going and finished 7 under for the event in 10th place.

LIV Bangkok

We stopped in Singapore on the way to Bangkok for the @F1, Henrik & I managed to get away before Hurricane Ian hit Florida creating an awful situation for a large number of people.

You all know I am a massive F1 fan and @mclaren give us the royal treatment with the garage tour and experiencing everything that goes towards running a F1 team. Also went to play @sentosagolfclub where I won the Singapore Open back in 2009 , great memories & thanks to the members who hosted us.

On to Bangkok and have to say @stonehill golf course was the best conditioned course I have seen for a long while. The weather was hot & steamy but unfortunately the course was not set up well for me being exceedingly long & wide fairways which give the younger guys a big advantage!

I finished 10th & the team 7th

LIV Jeddah

Difficult week for me as I caught a bug & was very sick on Thursday combined with the intense heat & it became a real challenge. I managed to get under par the first 2 rd.’s but Sunday was not good & I did not contribute to the team where we again finished 7th for the 2nd week running.

LIV Miami Team Championships

With the last two results we finished 6th in the league table so missed out on the 1st rd. bye but got to pick the team to play and chose Iron heads & played @kevinna915 in the single match.

During the press conference we had some great banter

We won all 3 matches on Friday & moved on to meet @_smashgc in the semi-finals. Sadly, we lost all 3 matches & our season finished there.

Looking back, it been an eventful year and one of a transition to an exciting future. I am fully engaged with developing the team concept for @majesticksgc moving into the 2023 season and look forward to sharing it with you all across all my social media channels.

I now have a great off season ahead of me to work on my fitness and keep this body as flexible as possible. My immediate task ahead is organising my charity golf day for @dreamflight_official next month to raise funds for a charity that I feel very passionate about.

I wish you all the best for the approaching holiday season and see you all in 2023.

Until next time
