Happy New Year to everyone, looking forward to an exciting year that includes a Ryder Cup!

Finished off the 2019 season in South Africa and Dubai. Nothing special – the wrist was still playing up a touch so was happy to have a month off to rest.
Got back and starting preparing for the @dreamflight charity day. After the great success of last year did not know what to expect but had some amazing auction items again this year and the pleasure of @davidyarrow attending to share some of his fascinating stories from around the world. The result was outstanding and exceeded all expectations raising just over 800K USD which now gives us a total of just over 2.5m USD in the 6 years we have been running the charity day! A big thank you to all of you that attended and those that have contributed to Dreamflight in 2019.
Christmas and New Year was really laid back. Really happy to spend the holidays back in our house after some 4 years. Those of you that follow me on Instagram have seen we set up the indoor studio with the Trackman and the putting studio. This is really going to be a huge benefit for me to stay competitive as I approach my 44th birthday end of this week!
Also spent some time looking at my social media. I received 1,979,516 likes in 2019. Here are my best 9 likes showing you enjoy a mixture of all things – golf, cars and houses. This year I will try to post eclectic things from my everyday life.

As I was preparing for the start of my season with 3 European Tour events in the Middle East I was very saddened to hear of the passing of my first caddy on the European Tour James Rae, aka ‘Edinburgh Jimmy’. His nickname for me was ‘Heavy Head’. What a gentle giant! His bark was louder than his bite, he helped shape the way I behaved on the course and helped us win several of my early European Tour events from 2000-2003. Jimmy, rest in peace my friend. As you would have said ‘Go big or go home‘. You will be missed by those of us that had the privilege of working with you and enjoying your company.
I start the year at 45th place in the World ranking after the first PGA tour event of the year finished in Hawaii so lots of hard work ahead of me and ready to get going.
